“Becoming” 

“Becoming” is a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind sculpture exploring transformation, decay, and resilience. The fragmented half of a woman's face emerges from silence—cut mid-nose, lips parted as if caught in breath, suspended between being and vanishing. Around the raw edges of her form, fungal growths bloom and cling, whispering of nature’s quiet reclamation. From her crown rise monolithic block pillars that dissolve into a raised fungal scalp, twisted with gnarly, curling horns—echoes of ancient strength and evolution.

Along her neck and the back of her head, the surface gives way to what appears as battle-worn, dented armor—scarred but unbroken. This duality of flesh and shell, organic growth and brutal design, evokes a story of survival: a relic of a warrior becoming something beyond human.

The deep bronze patina accentuates every texture, shadow, and scar, offering an intimate reflection on metamorphosis, vulnerability, and the armour we grow to endure.

“LOST” 

"Lost" is a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind sculpture embodying the turbulence of the human mind. Emerging from the depths, a woman’s face is partially revealed—her chin, lips, and nose breaking through the surface as if caught between clarity and obscurity. Above her, a massive curling wave rises, cascading in raw motion, echoing the emotional tides of inner turmoil. On the crest of the wave, a fragile paper boat—folded in the childlike tradition of innocence—floats uncertainly in the chaos, a symbol of the delicate soul adrift in the storm of thought.

This piece is an intensely personal meditation on the experience of uncertainty, resilience, and the struggle for inner peace. The deep bronze finish, though aged in appearance, serves as a reminder that even in the roughest of waters, there is an enduring beauty in survival.
